About the Dojo
The Canada Goju Trenton Dojo is located just ten minutes west of the city of Belleville. The dojo was founded in January 1999 by Sensei Regent St-Onge (3rd Dan) and is currently run by Sensei Andy Whynott.
As an affiliate dojo with the Canada Goju Karate Association (est. 1965), we offer a proven martial arts curriculum for adults and children. Respect for others is only one facet of how karate training can build positive life habits. Students can improve physical fitness, increase mental focus and strengthen self-confidence while learning valuable self-defense skills.
The dojo has both children and adult classes, and is open to all ages from five years old and up. Karate Instruction is offered in both English and French languages.
Classes are held at the École (School) Cité Jeunesse, on Fullerton Avenue in Trenton, Ontario. Anyone who is interested in training with us is welcome to try a class at anytime.
